From its beginnings, custom manufacturing high purity compounds
for Aldrich Chemical, the A C & S Incorporated 's Chemical Manufacturing
Department quickly expanded into toll manufacturing for numerous
companies and now ships worldwide as well as to all fifty
states. Manufactured products include agricultural intermediates,
agricultural chemicals, epoxy curing agents, neoprene curing
agents, pharmaceutical intermediates, petroleum dye intermediates,
petroleum dyes, specialty dyes, and organic markers.
Rail sidings are available at most of the production units
and a variety of materials can be and are handled by rail.
Bulk storage is available for acids, bases, solvents, liquid
raw materials, and finished products. The in-house Maintenance
and Construction Department stands ready for new product construction
or adaptation of existing production units to fit the specific
needs of our customers. All production is supported by a modern
and fully equipped Quality Control Laboratory. Additionally,
the equipment and expertise of the Environmental Laboratory
stands available as needed for new product development and
quality investigations.
A C & S, Incorporated is serviced by the Norfolk & Southern Railroad
through an open gate rail policy. With its own diesel electric
locomotive and on site rail sidings, A C & S, Incorporated can efficiently
handle raw material delivery and finished product distribution.
In addition to rail capacity, A C & S, Incorporated has the capability
and is currently handling both raw materials and finished
products by tank trailer and a variety of containers from
one gallon to tote tanks.
Recognizing the need for alternative fuels, A C & S, Incorporated has expanded its chemical manufacturing capacity to include
biodiesel. With the construction of a 5,000,000 gallon per
year batch facility, A C & S, Incorporated is committed
to manufacture and supply a high quality product, manufactured
from refined soybean oil, and certified to meet the ASTM D6751-07
standard.
